His followers hi-jacked four planes and crashed two into WTC1 and WTC2, a third into the Pentagon and the fourth got reclaimed by the passengers and unfortunately had to crash land.

It is a common misconception that the teachings of the Quran (not Koran) were an important factor in persuading Bin Laden to plot the attack. While he and Al ’Qaeda may have deliberately misconstrued some of the teachings of the Quran to uphold their ethnosupremacist views, the reasonings for the attack as described by Al ’Qaeda and Bin Laden are as follow:

“What America is tasting now is something insignificant compared to what we have tasted for scores of years. Our nation [the Islamic world] has been tasting this humiliation and this degradation for more than 80 years. Its sons are killed, its blood is shed, its sanctuaries are attacked, and no one hears and no one heeds.”

It is generally thought that the attack was in retaliation to the Iranian revolution, the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, the assassination of the president of Egypt and US support for Israel which led to a prominent anti-American slant in Islamic extremism and saw groups like Al ’Qaeda form.

Al ’Qaeda utilized terror as a tool to persuade the US to stop involving itself in the middle east. However, after 9/11 the US only waged terror upon terror. Invading and occupying Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen. Displacing upwards of 60 million people and killing at least 4 million.

In conclusion, I think the most important factor persuading Osama Bin Laden to attack the US was retaliation towards what the US has been doing to the Middle East.

The rise of racism and Islamophobia in the US was a big consequence of 9/11 because of the media and Islamophobes appearing within it perpetuating extremely racist stereotypes of Muslims and because of this they were then completely dehumanized, thus making it apparently socially acceptable to discriminate upon those that “appeared” Muslim. There was also plenty of propaganda doing the rounds, and the US has been scapegoating non-white people for as long as it has existed, so it was easy to convince people that “they’re all terrorists/are a threat”

There were other consequences from 9/11 in America such as more militarization of police forces. After 9/11, DHS (Department of Homeland Security) created anti-terror grants for police forces to take from all over the US to obtain military grade equipment and weapons. Alot of these times however, the things acquired from these grants are used in everyday situations not regarding terror. Because they are armed with this equipment they will use it to their advantage, thus causing a lot of corruption and brutality within the police system.

This was a big consequence because militarization of the police force is not good. This is because it often dismantles the trust a police officer and civilian as the officer due to having more deadly weapons on them will be seen as a threat. Police officers using this equipment unjustly against civilians very often also does not help the relationship between police and civilians.

In conclusion; I believe the biggest consequence of 9/11 was the state, president endorsed racism, xenophobia, and islamophobia. I believe this to be because of how beyond corrupt yet powerful the US government and Military Industrial Complex is, it has convinced many people to completely dehumanize other people simply because of them following a certain faith or having a different color of skin or coming from another country. It has caused millions to feel complete apathy and show support towards the US wreaking havoc in the middle east through human rights abuses, from land stealing and pillaging to the rape, torture, and execution of civilians - innocent adults and children. This apathy and support for these disgusting acts remain common to this day and have only gotten worse as the genocide in Palestine persists, funded, and armed by the US.

mouth possession

ja

Insane Forest Man

I possess a mouth, yet it remains a silent vessel, incapable of producing the scream that festers within. It does not have a sense of time, but events repeat usually. It is inhabited by many a creature, and when you visit you are no longer in the form of a human but a vesper.

It is a town in the middle of a particularly deep forest, the forest is haunted by many creatures unknown to mankind. You cannot leave, for the creatures will surely eat you or take you as a hostage and put you through grave torture for the rest of eternity.

The town itself is average – homes, shopping districts, townhall, etc. The building style is medieval brutalism. the citizens are drenched in poverty though, due to the town's mayor being a money hungry sadistic freak. The citizens of this town highly despise him due to this- he puts nothing into the community, nor does he care about the inhabitants – all he puts money towards is more alcohol and the towns excuse of an army.

When the mayor's son grows older, he begins to rebel against his father for how poor he treats the community and the surroundings and so he joins a group of vigilantes. The mayor does not like this and so he ends up sending a multitude of search parties to find – and kill this group of vigilantes. That did not go well though for the search parties end up being completely massacred.

After this, the circumstances of the citizens of the town end up so terribly worse, as a god of a place much worse than hell began aiding the mayor in both artillery and general protection as the citizens of limbotowne began to riot. The son plans to assassinate his father during the crimsonblood festival and succeeds in the assassination.

Due to the mayor's death, a revolution began, alongside wars. People ran around like madmen, doing whatever they pleased – they finally all felt free after many years of being trapped under such poverty. This freedom did not last long though due to the god of a place much worse than hell’s retaliation – he ordered hundreds of thousands of soldiers to come and wreak havoc, perhaps even commit genocide against the residents of limbotowne.

These wars go in for many many a year, but eventually in the end every being that originally abode there were dead- bar the mayor's son and the god of a place much worse than hell. They however both ended up killing themselves though for what was the point in living anymore, after they have destroyed all they love, there was nothing left.

A few days later however, things begin rebuilding themselves. Souls begin coming back from the second death, with memories wiped of the previous events.

These events happen every 200 years, the exact same happenings only with a few minor differences, for they are stuck in limbo.

Behavioural codes

Mayors' son- rebellious, angsty, anarchist, caring

Mayor- the definition of gluttony, greed, wrath, and envy. This deficiency can be linked to various factors, such as the overwhelming nature of our current reality, the pervasive influence of social media, and the alarming increase in mental health issues. The constant influx of information and stimuli, often distorted or sensationalised by mainstream news outlets and social media platforms, has made it challenging for individuals to discern truth from falsehood. As a result, many people have developed a superficial understanding of both the world around them and their own selves. The pressure to conform to trends and societal expectations further reinforces this superficiality, leading individuals to prioritise external validation over genuine self-reflection. This trend not only hinders personal growth and authentic connections but also perpetuates a cycle of shallow interactions and limited perspectives. To see through these challenges, it is crucial for people to cultivate critical thinking skills, practice empathy, actively seek diverse perspectives, practise self awareness and engage in self-reflection often. By creating, fostering and teaching these skills, people can strive towards a more authentic and fulfilling existence amidst the chaos of today's world.

But how does one begin deconstructing their superficial sense of self and reality?

They can start by dismantling their ego, realising they are but a tiny cog in the machine of this reality. They may then practise self awareness, observing their thoughts, feelings, reactions to things without self judgement, and choose to decide if this is really them, or a persona they created to conform with society. Question themselves and their beliefs - do they feel what is known as cognitive dissonance? If not, then they’re probably not questioning hard enough. After questioning themselves, they may begin questioning the information they receive around them, whether it be of a family/friend, the news or someone they follow on social media. They should practise critical thinking; don’t let their perception be fogged by the veil. Analyse information, question sources, and seek diverse perspectives. Don't blindly accept what's fed to them. After all of this, they will start becoming self aware, and the next choices are theirs to seek and discover.

What is insanity?

Alongside the pro's and con's...

Insane Forest Man

Insanity is often characterised as an individual experiencing symptoms that affect their ability to think, feel and align with reality and abide by societal norms, such as dissociation, hallucinations, intrusive thoughts, delusions, disorganised thought and speech, inability to tell between reality and imagination, emotional disturbances, erratic behaviours and similar. What I believe insanity to be, is an energy powered and often expressed through these behaviours, and that people can learn how to manipulate that energy of insanity into something positive (or negative).

Why is insanity a fundamental tool to have and foster?

Insanity is a fundamental tool to have in this reality, as it can help build different perspectives and viewpoints about the world around us and see reality more clearly, whether it be international happenings or things within a home like family disputes. It is also a key element to be able to express yourself in a more raw, individualistic way rather than a more tame, carbon copy of a "sane" person.

What effects can insanity and the enlightenment it brings have in your life?

It can bring many a thing. Ecstasy and melancholy, euphoria and despair - it all depends on how you treat the insanity you foster. As previously mentioned, it can help bring a clearer view of reality, heightened awareness of nature, reality, self and existence, enhanced sensory experiences, ego death and ego highs, identity crisis and knowing everything about yourself. Increased empathy, or increased apathy. It helps in the development of a more authentic self, a deeper understanding of society and the world and maybe even finding meaning in this reality.

Why are those deemed mad by society generally persecuted and stigmatised?

Throughout history, those deemed insane by society have nearly always faced truly unjust punishments for simply existing. In some ancient history, mentally ill people were often thought to have been the carriers of supernatural forces, such as believing they were possessed by demons or were facing a punishment from the divine beings that were seen as good, and then they were punished for it. Time and time again this has happened throughout history, with mental institutions severely mistreating, sometimes essentially torturing patients, whether it be the 1800s or the present day. I believe this hatred towards those that are mentally ill is caused by a fear of the incomprehensible and the unknown, they fear what they cannot feel, and so it is deemed as being an illness, a disease, and shunned from society. Stereotyping, stigma and negative portrayals in media like tv shows, newspapers, films, advertisements anything really, does not help whatsoever with the mistreatment and fear of mentally "ill" people.

Insanity and it's influence on creativity

Insanity is often associated with irrationality and chaos, but can be harnessed in both creative and destructive ways depending on the energy one connects with it mentally.

Insane Forest Man

Insanity is often associated with irrationality and chaos, but can be harnessed in both creative and destructive ways depending on the energy one connects with it mentally. If it is approached with a positive and open mindset, insanity can fuel creativity to great extents. Artists, writers, and visionaries throughout history have drawn inspiration from the strange and unpredictable nature of insanity. By embracing the madness within, you can break free from traditional constraints and explore new realms of imagination and reality itself.

On the other hand, when insanity is fueled by negative emotions such as fear or hatred, it can bring itself about in destructive ways. This destructive energy can lead to harmful behaviour towards oneself or others, violence, and all around negativity.

Ultimately, the key lies in how you choose to channel and harness the energy of insanity. By cultivating a positive and balanced mindset, you can tap into the creative potential of insanity and use it as a powerful force for creativity and self-expression. However, it is incredibly important to be mindful of the energy you connect with insanity, as it has the potential to either uplift or destroy.

Some ways insanity can help you embolden and power your creativity are as follows;
It often involves breaking away from conventional thought patterns and norms. This can lead to unique and unconventional ideas that may not have been considered in a more rational state of mind.it can also bring about intense emotions and feelings that can be channelled into creative expression. Many artists, writers, and musicians often draw inspiration from their own emotional experiences, and insanity can provide a heightened emotional state that can fuel creativity and passion in their work. It can blur the lines between reality and imagination, leading to the creation of surreal and abstract art forms. Artists who are experiencing a mental breakdown may produce art that is raw, unfiltered, and deeply personal, thus pushing the bounds of common artistic expression and leaving a nearly harrowing feeling on anyone consuming the art. People who are deemed "mad"or “insane” by common society may be more willing to take risks and explore new artistic territories, leading to ethereal and provocative works of art.

Thanks for reading Insane Forest Man's Auditorium!
